Hi! I’m Angelyn, the girl behind the blog. I’m a Christian. I’m also a high school student, amateur baker, blogger, expert laundry folder, beach lover, sister to 8, friend to all, daughter to the best parents ever, and auntie to 2 little boys and 1 little girl. ♥
I’m 16. I live about an hour outside of Philadelphia in a little town, but I love the city! I have a big, crazy family who makes me laugh all the time (I tend to laugh at anything & everything). I strive to be hardworking & driven and an overachiever. I like to fill my days up with lots of things to keep me busy. I like school, and even though I blog, I’m not big on writing (which is why this page is kind of all over the place!). I like reading, walking, and photography as well as baking & blogging! Baking is my passion, my escape from the world. I could bake for hours on end and not get bored. I’m home schooled and I’m graduating at the end of this school year. I hope to attend a local college in the fall to pursue an AA degree in Baking & Pastry Arts and I’m super excited for it! Ultimately, I’d like to graduate college, get married, have kids (lots of kids!) and be a stay-at-home mom while running this blog. Thank you so much for visiting my blog! I hope you enjoy. If you have any questions, please visit my contact page or drop me a comment, I’d love to hear from you!
In September of 2009, my little nephew Jesse was born. He was absolutely adorable and he had a full head of dark hair! But he was born with a liver disease called Biliary Atresia. Although he went through the recommended surgery, it was determined that he would still need a liver transplant. But he didn’t get one in time. On July 31, 2010 he got an infection in his blood stream and it was too late to stop it. He passed away on August 1, 2010. He was such a strong & cheerful little guy through all of the shots, medicine, hospital visits, etc. I miss him so much, but I’m comforted knowing that he is in heaven and is no longer suffering.
